Afilias Accidentally Deletes .Info Domains
Posted by: NameDram on: 07 Oct, 2008
Afilias (Info registry) accidentally deleted some of the domain names that were in the RGP this past weekend. Those people had the domains rescinded and got refund.
But there are some unanswer questions, such as
“Who is going to compensate me for my custom web graphics, templates and implemenations for those domains”
Afilias has just generally replied “The sponsoring registrar would be able to answer your queries. Please get in touch with them”
Who will take reponsible for this “mistake” ? Afilias or the sponsoring registrar?
